QUASAR WIRELESS

Quasar Wireless the next generation of the ever popular Quasar Elite laser-tag gaming system, providing instantaneous reporting of detected hits and shots remaining. Practically this removes the gun to chest-armour cable and allows in-game scoring removing the requirement to reload during the game or download at the end.

Main Functioning

Wireless preserves the functionality of the existing Quasar laser-tag systems proceeding IrDa fire and detect with scoring based upon shots fired and lives lost. The wireless upgrade adds additional functionality with broadcast messaging and more versatile game configuration allowing for ‘in-game’ reporting of team winning. Modified routers provide open contact relays for control of signals and special effects, these may be triggered either by wireless or IrDa fire.

Wireless Control System

For the first time Quasar Elite goes wireless. The jacket and gun are now independent of each other communicating by wireless, plus in turn to the arena and computer giving instantaneous updates to scoreboards and your gun.

Interchangable gun colours

A Major departure from the norm is that Quasar Elite Wireless guns are no longer one colour. As you enter the arena the gun adopts the colour of the jacket and the jacket in turn adopts the identity of the gun.

12 Character LCD back display

On the gun you get a constant update on a scrolling message display of your status within the game.

2 MB Audio memory

Throughout the game your gun will talk to you, telling you if you have got a “good shot” or if you get shot, telling you to move out of range. The system can be customized to speak in any language you require at no extra cost.

Secondary effects on base stations

Each time a base is disarmed, you can activate a wide range of lighting and/or sound effects, operating on 240V or 12V (for USA 110V plus 12V)

Improved battery life

As the jacket and gun are independent they now have there own battery pack, there are both nichol metal hydride, so they are both lighter and free from chemical memory problems. With an overnight charge the gun can be used all day even in the most demanding venue.

No more curly cords

No more getting tangled with the jacket removes the potential risk of breaking any of the 6 wires that carry functions between the gun and jacket. Wireless data transfer disposes of the problem at a stroke.

No more reloading

As everything is now wireless you get the freedom of enjoying a full game without having to go and reload or having to download at the end of the game, irrespective of it being a team or solo game.

4 Years Free Warranty.Yes we are so confident in Quasar Elite Wireless, we are offering total parts and labour warranty for 4 years totally free. This includes such things as batteries (which normally last 2-3 years). It is quite simple, if it breaks or stops working we replace it FREE of charge.

Based on our own statistics as an operator since 1989. Needless to say, this is one of the greatest advancements in technology laser-tag has ever seen, so the price is higher than an IR system but we are offering an in-house payment scheme over 4 years. That makes it totally affordable, even in today’s financial climate. It will take just two birthday parties a week to pay for this. (Based on our own statistics collected over 20 years as operators)
