The main part of the Quasar Elite Package is the equipment itself. All of the equipment we supply is designed, manufactured, installed and supported by us. There are four areas of the equipment, the Packs (made up of a vest and a phaser), Network Units (Energisers, Bases, and Mines), the control computer, and the Charging System.
THE PACKS
A site can have any number of packs from 20 up to 60. Of course more packs are better, but we do not recommend less than 20. The main limitation to the number of packs is the size of the building as a rough rule of thumb you will need 1000 square feet(100 sq Meters) of arena space for every 10 Guns. Plus around 50% again for reception, diner area. Briefing room and vesting room.
COMPUTER
A dedicated Windows-based computer is provided as part of the Quasar Elite Package. This computer is used purely for the control of the Quasar Elite system. The software also contains a three tier password protected accounts system which you will be trained to use upon installation.
NETWORK UNITS
Every system is supplied with 4 Network Units comprising of an Energiser and a Base in each team colour. Extra Network Units can be provided upon installation. These can be supplied and fitted later but this will increase labour costs. The Network Units are linked back to the computer with network cabling which is part of the installation. Also an integral part of the network is a set of scoreboards which can be mounted inside the arena or in reception.
THE CHARGING SYSTEM
As part of the installation, a Charging System is included. This provides a socket and charge lead for each gun to be plugged into over night. An overnight charge will provide 12-14 hours play.
